As you may know, we lost our Nanny in March 2018 after she bravely fought ALS. She would be so proud of Sophie for her dedication to raising awareness for a disease that still has no cure. Many of you have already supported us so much and we truly appreciate it. Because of her efforts and your generosity, Sophie realizes she is actually DOING something to make a difference in the lives of those affected by ALS.
However, we still need your help to achieve our 2020 (VIRTUAL) Walk fundraising goal! . Our team is committed to raising money to support people in our community with ALS and spread awareness of the urgency to find treatment and a cure. Please consider JOINING our team in the Walk to Defeat ALS®. On Saturday, we will wear Nanny's Nation t-shirts and WALK in her memory. Please take photos to post on social media! If you can't join our team by walking, please choose a team member from the list and DONATE to our cause.
Why We Need Your Help
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a progressive, fatal neuromuscular disease that slowly robs the body of its ability to walk, speak, swallow and breathe.
ALS can strike anyone. Presently there is no known cause of the disease, yet it still costs loved ones an average of $250,000 a year to provide the care people living with ALS and their families need.
