Hello everyone! We are thrilled you are joining us for the 2021 Walk to Defeat ALS® Richmond in PERSON. I am here to serve as a support and answer any questions. Please contact me if you have any questions. Kindly email: aatwill@alsinfo.org or call: 804-432-9539.

The Walk will be held at Brown's Island, South 7th Street on Saturday, October 23, 2021! 

NOTE: Waivers must be signed to participate.  One waiver per participant. TIP: Waivers will be emailed to you before the walk. Please print and sign at home. Bring the signed waiver with you to the walk. If you forget, no worries as there will be extra copies of the waivers at Registration should you need one.

**The DC/MD/VA Chapter is working closely with our local health officials, state offices, and venues in assessing the potential for in-person events for the Fall. As always, the safety of people living with ALS, our event participants, volunteers, and partners are our #1 priority. Though we are uncertain we will be able to host in-person events in the Fall, we encourage you to register for Walk to Defeat ALS and be part of our online community. ALS doesn’t stop and neither do we!

We've Gone Mobile!

Your fundraising has gone mobile thanks to the Walk to Defeat ALS mobile & tablet app. Now you can fundraise on the go by sending emails, monitoring your fundraising progress and updating your page. 



2020 Walk Shirt


Only participants who've raised $90 will get a t-shirt. This benefit is awarded to individuals, not teams or donors, so make sure the donations to your personal fundraising record add up!

In addition to working toward one for yourself, you should spread the word to encourage your friends, family, and coworkers to earn their very own shirt.
