A Message From Steve:

My Friends & Family,

I have now survived four years, and like Saturday Night Fever, “I'm still staying alive”. Time now means something very different to me than to most people. My faith remains greater than my fears, and I continue to do better than expected. 

I have learned so much from my grandchildren, especially whatever you do today, do it with the confidence of a six year old and two year old in a Pokémon T-Shirt.   

I understand first-hand how ALS first robs your identity, then your dignity and finally your life, but it cannot take away hope, or the determination to never give up. Fortunately, I have had a lot of help along the way from my wonderful family and friends, and do not walk alone.
