Nationals ALS Awareness Night
Nationals Stadium

Help us hit one out of the park at ALS Awareness Night with the Washington Nationals on Friday, July 6, 2012 at 7:05PM! Tickets are available online and include an $8 tax-deductible donation to the ALS Association – DC/MD/VA Chapter!

PLUS, Washington Nationals third baseman, Ryan Zimmerman, will receive the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award, presented by Phi Delta Theta International, for his philanthropic efforts during his career in Major League Baseball. Ryan will receive his award before the first pitch of the Nationals game on July 6th against the Colorado Rockies.

The ALS Association is the National Philanthropy of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity for chapters on campuses across the United States. Lou Gehrig, for whom the disease is named, was a member of Phi Delta Theta at Columbia University in 1925. The Lou Gehrig Memorial Award is the only official award in Major League Baseball that is given by a fraternity. Players such as Derek Jeter, Albert Pujols, Tommy John, and Hank Aaron have received the Lou Gehrig Memorial Award.

Please join us as we celebrate Ryan’s achievement and bring ALS Awareness to Nationals Park!
